About UsDiaxon is a new company formed February 2000 by Peter Domanski and Philip Irvine. Both are experienced business and IT consultants with a wide range of assignments in commercial, industrial, government and scientific sectors (see biographies). To date the pair are best known for their book on Relational database design. Publishing Diaxon now incorporates the publishing activities of Domanski-Irvine Books and will pursue the policy of publishing practical information and develop 'print-on-demand' and electronic distribution techniques. Our book entitled 'Publishing Books Using your PC' explains many of the methods that we use. We started selling our books on the web in 1995. Since then we have sold to over 40 countries. Business Methodology and Application Generators Significantly, diaxon is moving into next-generation modular application design which features our own design-to-application methodology. This aims to deliver advanced software products in 30-40% of the time it takes contemporary development tools. We have developed our own Relational/OO database system and are currently trialling diaxon's own application generation tools. Our first objective is to use these tools to produce a suite of business software and utilities. Being completely proprietary and relatively quick to develop, we aim to offer a range of applications at very low cost compared to current IT industry norms. Consultancy We can offer consultancy services having experience in many areas of commerce and industry. Software Products We will be offering several applications later in 2000. Products will be produced using our application generating software. Opportunities - Careers/Collaboration It is our intention to develop diaxon into a major application supplier. To do this we need to build a team of professional IT associates. We will shortly be seeking additional specialist skills in the areas of business analysis, database technology, C++ programmers and support staff. We hope to make Diaxon an exciting opportunity for individuals wishing to join a high technology .com company from its inception. We will also be looking for publishing skills and will consider ideas from established and prospective authors. Opportunities - Investment We have set ourselves aggressive targets for building Diaxon into a significant IT application provider. Our confidence rests on the belief that our methodological approach with its advanced application building tools have huge potential. To bring this to market requires significant investment. We are currently a private company but will consider a stock market listing when the time is appropriate. Peter Domanski 18th February 2000
